FLORA ANN AUSTIN Funeral services for Flora Ann Austin, 64, were held on October 12, 2011 at Sardis Senior Citizens Center in Sardis, Tenn. with Lloyd Blankenship officiating. Burial followed in the Cedar Grove Cemetery at Sardis. Mrs. Austin passed away on October 10, 2011. She was born in Decatur County, Tennessee on July 24, 1947 the daughter of the late Bernard and Bertie Margaret Montgomery McBride, and she was united in marriage to Terry Ray Austin on June 6, 1981. Mrs. Austin worked for H. I. S. Sportswear and Johnson Controls. She also worked at Stanfills Dollar Store in Scotts Hill, Tenn. and M. I. G. in Lexington, Tenn. She was a member of Sinners Hope Church and loved gospel music, cooking, collecting cookbooks, sewing and quilting. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. She is survived by one son, Brad Austin of Reagan, Tenn.; two daughters, Amanda Browder of Decaturville, Tenn. and Andrea Baker of Jackson, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Matthew Austin, Mary Beth Robinson, Sara Tomblin, Felicia Locklear, Lara Austin and Andrew Baker; three sisters, Phyllis Tubbs of Saltillo, Tenn. and June Gary and Glenda McBride of Scotts Hill; two brothers, Robert McBride of Lexington and Ricky McBride of Sardis.
