Harold Ray Montgomery, born February 19, 1930. Enlisted in the USAF July 13, 1951. Countries served in: Occupational Forces in European Theatre. Discharged in June 1955 with rank of staff sergeant. He is the son of Oscar and Euda Montgomery. Married to Geneva Flatt and has three children. Funeral services for Mr. Harold Ray Montgomery are scheduled for 3:00pm, Wednesday, July 14, 2004 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill with J. Walker Whittle, Dan Brigance, and Paul Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Bath Springs. Mr. Montgomery died late Monday in Parsons. He was born February 19, 1930 in Bath Springs to the late Oscar and Eudie Lancaster Montgomery. He was an Air Force Veteran and a retire employee of the Tennessee Highway Dept. He was preceded in death by a brother, W. R. Montgomery and a sister, Melba Martin. Survivors include his wife of over 40 years, Mrs. Geneva F. Montgomery, his son Johnny (Tiffany) Montgomery , two daughters, Ann (Lynn) Chalk and Kay (Jeff) Gant all of Bath Springs, a brother, Nealous Montgomery of Decaturville, a sister, Mary Lynn Butler of Decaturville, a halfsister, Betty Ann Montgomery of Sevierville, and six grandchildren. |
