STEPHEN YOUNG to SOLUDA YOUNG

59 acres

I, STEPHEN YOUNG, for the consideration of one hundred and fifty dollars to me in hand paid, the receipt of which is herby acknowledged, have this [day] sold, bargained, transferred and conveyed to SOLUDA YOUNG, MY DAUGHTER, a certain tract of land lying and being in the 17th Civil District, McNairy County, State of Tennessee and on the waters of Billy's Creek and know as part of the EWING JOHNSON tract and deeded to me by SUSAN PEASE on the 18th day of January 1878 and bounded as follows:

Beginning at a stake, beech and gum pointers, on the bank of Billy's Creek on the East line of the R. W. RANKIN tract, runs East 82 poles to a gum and pointers on the East line of the JOHNSON tract, then South 90 poles to a poplar or maple, the SouthEast corner of the original JOHNSON tract, then West 120 poles to a stake, black jack and post oak pointers, the SouthWest corner of the same, then in a NorthEasterly direction 99 poles to the beginning, containing 59 acres more or less.

This deed conveys the South end of the EWING JOHNSON tract as deeded to me.

To have and to hold the same to the said SALUDA YOUNG forever, I covenant with the said YOUNG that I am lawfully seized of said land and have a good right to convey the same and that it is unencumbered in any way and I bind myself, my heirs to warrant and forever defend the title to the same to the said YOUNG forever against the lawful claims fo all persons. This January the 17th 1899.
