Lela Butler Keeton, 87

Funeral services for Mrs. Lela Butler Keeton, 87, were held Sunday, April 29 at Brewer Funeral Home Chapel in Decaturville, with Rev. Steve Shelhammer and Rev. Jimmy Wallace officiating. Interment was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bath Springs.

Mrs. Keeton, a homemaker, died Friday, April 27 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital due to heart failure.

She is survived by her spouse James Bonnie "Bon" Keeton; one daughter, Bonnie Ruth Boroughs, Decaturville; two sons, Robert Ben Keeton and Paul Rogers Keeton both of Palatha, FL; eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her son Bonnie Leon Keeton, parents Millard Austin and Millie Alice Ivey Butler, three brothers Perry Butler, Carl Butler and Clyde Butler and five sisters Jessie Hopper, Druie Welch, Mary Mryacle, Vera Blount and Willie Morgan.

Pallbearers were Joe Keeton, Jeff Keeton, Jamey Taylor, Todd Keeton, Donnie Keeton and Rod Keeton.

Honorary pallbearers were Adam Keeton, Jay Keeton, Anthony Fricker, Jamie Keeton, Rebecca Fricker, Rachel Fricker, Jennifer Fricker and Amber Taylor.
