In 1861, Patrick moved with the family to northern Alabama. By 1870, Patrick had moved to Decatur Co. TN along with his parents and several siblings. Patrick farmed and raised cotton along with his brothers Austin and Columbus in Decatur Co. near Point Pleasant, TN. Patrick never married and died in 1889 at the age of 30.
