Rachel Stricklin, Riverside High School, and Sunny Reed, Lexington High School, recently attended Design Discovery Camp 2002 held at Mississippi State University's School of Architecture. During the week-long camp, they worked in the architecture studio and were actively involved in both team and individual projects. Shown above are spatial habitats created with only cardboad and wooden skewers. Other projects included outdoor instant environments, models of local buildings, originally designed "human-sized" cardboard chairs and architecturally related sketches. Rachel is the daughter of Don and Amy Stricklin, and Sunny is the daughter of Mike and Belinda Reed.
