Montgomery, age 93 were held Friday, January 4, 2002 at the Reed's Chapel in Decaturville with Neal Hinson officiating. Interment followed in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Montgomery died Wednesday, January 2, 2002 at the McKenzie Health Care Center. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Lou Boothe of McKenzie, two grandchildren, Teresa Howarth of Germantown and Marilyn Hickam of Jackson, and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Montgomery was preceded in death by her husband Claude Montgomery, her parents Bruce Kelley and Rosa Maners Kelley, two sons, Marle and H. L. Montgonmery, three sisters, Eurma Montgomery, Burma Wyatt and Hazel Adams and one brother Harbert Kelley.
