Burial will follow at Red Walnut Cemetery in Bath Springs. Pafford Funeral Home is in charge of services. She passed away Friday, June 13, 2003 at Decatur County General Hospital. She was born May 21, 1915 in the Presley Ridge Community near Scotts Hill, Tennessee to William Maness and Margaret Tucker Maness. Her brothers, Jake Maness, Ervin Maness and Fred Maness, and her sisters, Ozie Maness Goff, Velma Maness Mitchell and Sue Maness Hanna, preceded her in death. She is survived by one sister, Grace Maness Montgomery of Scotts Hill, Tennessee. She is also survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Billy A. and Patsy Yarbro Montgomery of Decaturville; a daughter-in-law, Mary Phillips Montgomery of Scotts Hill; four grandchildren, Kara Montgomery Marshall of Parsons, Michael Montgomery of Scotts Hill, Kallie Montgomery of Decaturville and Misty Montgomery Austin of Scotts Hill.
