Denny Glen Smith Denny Glen Smith was born November 9, 1959 in Decaturville, the son of the late James Ovid Smith and Sarah Estell McClure. Mr. Smith was a disabled timber harvester, a member of the Living Water Pentecostal Church and a veteran of the United States National Guard. He was united in marriage to Paula Melissa Montgomery on April 26, 2001. Mr. Smith departed this life on November 6, 2019 at the age of 59 years, 11 months, and 28 days. He is survived by his wife, Paula Melissa Montgomery Smith of Decaturville; five sons, Darryl Dustin Smith of Lexington, Dustin Wayne Smith of Decaturville, Anthony Michael Smith of Decaturville, Austin Glen Smith of Decaturville and Eli Don Smith of Decaturville; fours daughters, Tabitha Ann Graves (Tony) of Lexington, Pamela Faye Smith of Lexington, Chelsea Addison Smith of Decaturville and Havana Grace Smith of Decaturville; two step-sons, Nicholas Kyle Moore of Collinwood, Tenn. and Kristoffer Lane Moore (Brittany) of Bath Springs, Tenn; three brothers, Gerald McClure (Glenda) of Decaturville, Jimmy Smith (Tine) of Lexington and Wesley Smith of Franklin, Tenn; two sisters, Nancy Pipkin of Lexington, Shelia Taylor (Zeke) of Holladay, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren, Brittany Ann Pezzuxi (Josh), Emily Chantell Graves, Rebecca Ann Graves, Anthony Edwin Graves, Sarah Nicole Smith, MaKinLeigh Grace Moore, JoLeigh Faith Moore, AnnsLeigh Mae Moore, RaeLeigh Jade Moore and Levi Emmett Moore. In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by a step-son Nathaniel Blake Moore and his grandparents, Alton and Bertie Smith and Will and Maude McClure. Services were held November 9, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Living Water Pentecostal Church with Charles Gregory, Joey Weatherford and Cody Clark officiating. Burial followed at Living Water Cemetery. |
