Earline Thompson Lancaster Funeral services for Earline Thompson Lancaster, 96, were held Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the church of
Christ in Parsons. Burial followed at Shady Grove Cemetery in Hardin County, Tenn. Mrs. Earline passed away at her home April 25, 2019 in Parsons, Tenn. She was born Jan. 9, 1923 to the late Percifer and Martha Jane (Austin) Morris Thompson. On April 25, 1946 she married James L. Lancaster who preceded her in death after 63 years of marriage. They had one son, James Dwight, who passed away Oct. 1, 2016. Mrs. Earline was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She loved working in her flowers and in the family business. She also had a special place in her heart for her cats, especially for Pepper and Rusty. Along with her parents, husband and son, she was preceded in death by her four brothers, Homer and Jessie Levi Thompson, Foy and Bertis Morris; and one sister, Alma (Morris) Thompson. Survivors include two nieces/caregivers, Barbara Tucker of Sardis and Judy (Jr) Huckstep of Lexington and several more nieces, nephews and extended family members. - The News Leader, Parsons, TN, May 1, 2019
