Bernice Riggs Duck Bernice Riggs Duck, 93, passed away at her home in Memphis, Tennessee on Friday, January 18, 2019. She was born to Ester and Walter Riggs on March 24, 1925 in Parsons, Tennessee. Bernice met and married Billy Charles Duck, beginning a life and a family spanning generations and geography. They traveled from Parsons to Knoxville, to Brazil, to California and Mexico, then back to Brazil and finally to Memphis. She leaves to mourn her passing four sons, Tom, John, Jim, and Mark; seven grandchildren, Micah, Andrew, Austin, Tyler, Elizabeth, Max and Parker; and one great-granddaughter, Nan. Her poise, quiet kindness, and ability to bring people together will be sorely missed. - The News Leader, Parsons, TN, January 23, 2019
