Obituary for Marie Harville Murphy Marie Harville Murphy departed this life on Sunday, August 19, 2018, at the age of 77 years, 5 months, and 10 days. She was born in Decatur County, Tennessee on March 9, 1941, the daughter of the late Luther Ivey and Olmie Funderburk Ivey Flatt. On December 31, 2011, she was united in marriage to JN Murphy, who survives. Marie retired from Brown Shoe Company, where she worked in the cement department. She is survived by husband, JN Murphy of Savannah, Tennessee; children, Nicky Ray Harville and his wife Connie, Betty Ann Stricklin, Randy Harville and his wife Emily, all of Savannah, Tennessee, and Billy Robbins of Decaturville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Cody Harville, Hunter Harville, Hunter Wilkerson, Jennifer Robbins, Jennifer Formby, and Mallory Harville; nine great grandchildren; and a half sister, Judy Mary Arnold and her husband Joseph of Lexington, Tennessee. In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by a son, Larry Gene Robbins; brother, Roger Ivey; half sister, Geneva Montgomery; and half brother, William Flatt. |
