Claude H. Carver, 63, went home to be with the Lord and his daughter, Sutton Elizabeth, Sunday, May 22, 2011. Service: We will celebrate his life at 10 a.m. Thursday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville. The Rev. Mike Mowery will officiate. Claude was born Sept. 23, 1947, in Nice, France. He graduated from Memphis State with a BS in physics before becoming a pilot in the U.S. Air Force for nine years. Claude's greatest achievement was being a father to his six children. He was known for his compassion for any living creature and his love of nature and animals. He was very intelligent, witty and extremely kind. He loved talking about stocks and everyone enjoyed being around him. His gentle spirit and loving kindness will be deeply missed, but not forgotten by all who knew him. Survivors: Claude is survived by his wife of 17 years, Pam Carver; sons, Brent Carver, Ethan Carver and Ford Carver; daughters, Gracie Carver and Tatum Carver; his mother, Eve Persian; sister, Barbara Gardner; half-brothers, Eric Persian, Derek Carver and Daron Carver; and numerous nieces and nephews who adored him.
