Charlie A. Lacy, private, was killled in action while serving as an infantryman with America Expeditionary Forces in France October 1, 1918. He is buried in Arlington National Cemetery. He was the brother of Wess Lacy, Jess Lacy, Edna Ivey, Hattie Kindle, and Rita Knight of Decatur County. His parents were Calvin C. and Mary (Fisher) Lacy.
