Jerry and Linda Butler

Mason Tyler Reaves was born July 30, 1990 in Florence, Alabama, the son of Kenneth ( Kenny ) Earl and Jennie Elizabeth Melson Reaves of Iron City, TN.

Mason was a Senior at Collinwood High School and a member of the Butler Grove Baptist Church in Iron City, Tennessee.

He died in an automobile accident on Monday, March 30, 2009 near Collinwood, Tennessee at the age of 18 Years, 8 Months.

Other than his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Sydney Kate Reaves and Ava Grace Reaves both of the home; grandparents , Buford Reaves of Iuka, MS, Betty Pulley of Collinwood, TN, Joe and Elizabeth Melson of Iron City, TN; great-grandfather, Gene
Daniel of Iron City, TN; aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by great-grandparents,Wilma Daniel,Sam Harper Reaves,and Louthenie Reaves.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Junior Daniel and Tim Hanback officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens in Collinwood, Tennessee with
Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 1, 2009 from 7 pm to 9 pm and Thursday, April 2, 2009 from 9 am until service time at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, TN.
