William D. Butler

William Dalton Butler, 62, Route 9, Florence, died Sunday at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Birmingham.

He was a native of Lauderdale County, a member of the Methodist Church and a veteran of World War II.

The service will be at 10 a. m. Tuesday at Morrison-Elkins Funeral Home Chapel, Florence, with Gerald Montgomery officiating. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park.

Friends may call the funeral home from 6 to 9 tonight.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Mary Butler, Florence, brothers, Coy Butler, Cloverdale, Carlos Butler, Johnny Butler, both of Florence, sisters, Mrs. Gertie Griggs, Athens, Mrs. Kathleen Richardson, Mrs. Sarah Jackson, Mrs. Lila Grissom, all of Florence, nieces and nephews.

Bearers will be Greg May, Junior Gilchrist, Lynn Grissom, J. C. Wilson, Dennis Wilson, Paul Wilson.
