In the 1820's the Moses Baskin family moved to Tipton Co., TN. They settled near the Holly Grove and Burlison communities. They raised 4 sons and 3 daughters, most of them are buried in the Indian Creek Cemetery in Tipton Co. TN. The 1850 Tipton Co. census shows: Baskin, Catharine 68 F -- VA (Living with son Andrew Jackson Baskin).
