The book, "Tennessee Mortality Schedule" shows the following entry: Coda, Lemuel H, 25, married born TN, father born NC, mother born NC occupation: farmer, death month: Sept, cause of death: supposed poisoning county: Decatur, census year 1880. From this record, it appears that his family did believe that he was poisoned at the time of his death but that he died in Decatur Co. TN in Sept. 1879. from the research of Kenneth Young
