Oly married Arminta May Davis on February 2, 1910, in Stoddard Co., MO. They had two children: Vuanita and Beauford. He was a farmer. Oly died in 1965 and is buried beside his wife in the cemetery at Advance, MO. His son, Beauford, was born October 17, 1914, in Stoddard County, MO. He was married more than once, and one of his wives was Virginia. Beauford had seven children: Loretta, Leatrice, Freida, Veronica, Richard, Gerald Lynn, and Lloyd Edward. Beauford died on January 11, 1990, at age 76, at his home in West Los Angeles, CA. His funeral services were held at Risher Mortuary, 1316 Whittier Blvd., Montebello, CA, on Thursday, February 15, 1990, at 10 a.m.
