Shared note	Nancy A. Butler was born in June of 1863 in Alabama. She is the daughter of John Wesley Butler and Nancie Ann Duke Butler. Nancy moved with her family to Decatur Co. TN around the age of five. Her family left there and lived for a while in Obion Co. TN and moved on to Stoddard Co. MO by 1880. Nancy married Robert Keating on April 2, 1882, at the home of her father in Pike Township, Stoddard Co. MO. The ceremony was performed by F. M. Rhodes. Robert was born in December of 1859. They were married until his death in the early 1900s. Nancy and Robert had 6 children with three dying in infancy or early childhood. Viola A., Oly and Ada all survived to adult hood.
