The News Leader, Parsons, TN, July 25, 2001, Page 6 Lena Montgomery Funeral Services for Mrs. Lena Montgomery, 96, were held Saturday, July 21, 2001, at Brewer Funeral Home Chapel in Decaturville, with Bro. Mike Yarbro officiating. Interment followed at Peace Chapel Cemetery in Scotts Hill. She is survived by one daughter, Robbie Lomax of Decaturville; two sons, Jimmy and Clifford Montgomery, both of Bradford, Tennessee; one sister, Lela Holland of Hohenwald; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Montgomery was preceded in death by her husband, Claud E. Montgomery; her parents, Noah and Lillie Kennedy Chumney; one daughter, Claudene Montgomery; two sons, Ralph and Eugene Montgomery, and three brothers, Ruel, Clyde, and Raymond Chumney. Pallbearers were Tony Montgomery, Tim Lomax, Ganny Lomax, Randy Lomax, Terry Lomax, and Jimmy Montgomery. Honorary pallbearers were Rodney Montgomery, Jerry Montgomery, and Jerod Lomax. |
