Wyatt Sr., age 89, were held Sunday, November 4, 2001 at the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with Bro. Carlton Barnett officiating. Interment followed in the Scotts Hill Methodist Cemetery. Mr. Wyatt, a retired teacher and principal of Scotts Hill School and a retired farmer, died Friday, November 2, 2001 at the Decatur County General Hospital. He is survived by a son, Lealon Wyatt, Jr. of Bath Springs, one sister, Kathleen Ayers of Linden, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Wyatt was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Hobbs Wyatt. Family and friends acted as pallbearers.
