Note: Linda Carolyn Rhodes Linda Carolyn Rhodes Linda Carolyn Rhodes, 74, of Decaturville, Tenn., passed away Friday, June 25, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 8, 1947 in Decatur County to the late Oscar Aaron and Coma Tucker Aaron. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Granville Edward Rhodes; two sons, Marty Rhodes and Mark Rhodes; and two sisters, Allene Bledsoe and Charlotte Aaron. She worked as a guard at Tourney Center and later at CCA in Clifton where she retired. She attended The Lord's Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Shannon Rhodes of Decaturville; brother, James Paul Aaron (Carolyn) of Reagan, Tenn. and Rob Aaron (Cheryl) of Decaturville; sisters, Ada Bell Hancock (David) of Lawrenceburg, Tenn. and Nellie Swift (Bobby) of Decaturville; grandchildren, Carson Rhodes, Carter Rhodes, and Destine Bishop; as well as a host or relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 4 p.m. Burial followed at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
