Louise Reed Patterson

Funeral services for Louise Reed Patterson, 90, will be held Friday, June 10, 2011 at the First Methodist Church of Parsons with Rev. Dan Weathersby officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Cemetery near Scotts Hill. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Patterson, a homemaker, was the daughter of the late Henry and Lillie Wyatt Reed, and passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011 in Lexington, South Carolina. Survivors include her son, Reed Patterson and his wife Patty of Lexington, SC; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; two sisters, Bonnie McInnis of Decatur, AL, Melba Shelby of Jackson, TN; and a brother, Parker W. Reed of Warner Robbins, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Zade Patterson and a sister, Vernell Hammers. Jean M. Shaw Jean M. Shaw, 87, of Decaturville passed away Sunday, June 5, at Westwood Healthcare in Decaturville, TN. A graveside service was held at Lewis Cemetery in Hickory Ridge, AR. Mrs. Shaw is survived by a daughter, Paula (Larry) Lawrence, of Jonesboro, AR; two sons Preston Leon (Susan) Shaw, Jr. of Parsons and Robert Michael (Lana) Shaw of Argyle, TX; and a sister, Mary Jo McClure, of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Kimberly (Michael) Sharp of Lakeland, TN; Kathryn (Rick) Seadler, Springhill, TN; Rynne and Ian Lawrence, both of Jonesboro, AR; and by four great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Natalie Sharp of Lakeland and Samuel and Lily Seadler of Springhill. She was predeceased by her husband, Preston Leon Shaw, Sr; a sister, Ester Bishop; two brothers, Paul and Dick McClure, and her parents, Victor Sherman and Velma Pearl McClure.
