Bennie D. Lancaster, Jr., born March 9, 1929. Enlisted in the USN April 8, 1948. Military locations, stations were USNTC San Diego, CA, and USNAS Pensacola, FL. Enlisted in the U. S. Army February 19, 1951, and served with the artillery as radio operator. Countries served in : Korea. Discharged November 18, 1952 with rank of corporal (T). Awarded the Korean Service Medal w/2 DCS and United Nations Service Medal. Bennie passed away July 22, 1990. He was the son of Bennie D. and Jessie (Eason) Lancaster. Married to Dorothy J. (Johnson) Lancaster and had five children: Susan, Steven, Sherry, Christopher and Phillip Lancaster. Submitted by Mrs. J. L. Lancaster. |
