Frances Allene Mullis Keeton, age 75, of Palatka, FL passed away peacefully at Haven Hospice Robert’s Care Center on Sunday, October 20, 2019 due to an extended illness. She was born in Palatka, FL on January 7, 1944. Frances graduated from Palatka High School in 1962 and Valdez Beauty School in 1964. She married her sailor, Paul R. Keeton, at the home of her parents on September 24, 1965. Frances was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Henry “Happy” and Jean Folsom Mullis; sister, Gay L. Wales; and brothers, Henry W. and Richard J. Mullis. Frances utilized her many talents, while working from home. She was a gifted beautician, a successful Tupperware Unit Sales Manager and most importantly, a loving homemaker. She was passionate about caring for her home and family. She loved to bake and had a wicked sweet tooth. She took great pleasure in feeding all who entered her door. Frances was a great communicator and avid supporter of “Ma Bell”. She enjoyed watching television, especially her “stories”, western movies, and reality programs. She was witty without trying to be, freely shared her thoughts and opinions, and loved wholeheartedly, never greedy with her affection. She will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka on Friday, November 1, 2019. The family will receive visitors at 1:00 p.m. with service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Bishop Michael Curtis will be Officiating.
