William Arthur Butler died on May 23rd 2004. He was the son of Samuel Livingston Butler of Cullman Alabama. He was born on July 28, 1921 in Cullman Ala and died only 200 yards from where he was born. He was a D-Day survivor and also survived the Battle of the Bulge in 1944. He served as a Combat Engr with the 3rd Army, 246th Combat Engr Battalion. He was retired from Wilson Foods. He was quite a fiddler to boot.
