Robert "Bob" Keeton - Graveside services for Robert B. "Bob" Keeton, 79, of St. Augustine, were held Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Palatka Memorial Gardens with Rev. Karl Flagg officiating. The U. S. Navy will conduct military honors. Johnson-Overtuf Funeral Home in Palatka was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Keeton passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Bayview Nursing Home in St. Augustine. He was a native of Decaturville, Tennessee and had lived in St. Augustine for the past several years, coming from Palatka where he lived for many years. He retired after 42 years as a maintenance supervisor with Georgia Pacific and served in the U. S. Navy from 1952-1956. He was Past Master of Pineland Masonic Lodge #86 F.&A.M. in Palatka and a member of the Putnam County Shrine Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, James B. and Lela Keeton; and a brother, Leon Keeton.

He is survived by his wife, Melva Keeton of St. Augustine; son, Don Keeton of St. Augustine; daughter, Debbie Banks and husband Gator of Palatka; grandchildren, Kellie Fortner and husband Mike Meeks of St. Augustine, Melinda Campbell and husband Shad of Bend, Oregon, Christy May of Palatka and Guyla Banks of Hastings; great-grandchildren, Ava Meeks, Alys Meeks, Macey May, Austin May, Michael May, Cody May, Justin Stumpe and Jarrett Stumpe; brother, Paul Keeton of Palatka; sister, Bonnie Burroughs of Decaturville; and many nieces and nephews.
