J.B. "Bon" Keeton, DECATURVILLE

Services for J.B. 'Bon' Keeton, 92, will be held at 3:00 p.m. today, June 6, 2003 at Reed's Chapel in Decaturville with Bro. Jimmy Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Keeton, a retired carpenter, died Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at Decatur County General Hospital. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Methodist Church and also of Center Masonic Lodge #380.

He is survived by one daughter, Bonnie Ruth (William) Burroughs of Decaturville; two sons, Robert Ben (Melba) Keeton and Paul Rogers (Francis) Keeton all of Florida; a daughter-in-law, Nell Keeton of Decaturville; three brothers, Bob, Rogers and Lewis Keeton all of Decaturville; 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lela Butler Keeton; one son, Bonnie Leon Keeton; two sisters, Sallie Blount and Bertie Wright and three brothers, Andy, Ovid and James Wright Keeton.

Visitation will be today from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
