The Lancaster Descendants, Patricia Ann Maners, July 4, 1991 Fran remembers the first time Papa and Mama Lancaster went to a restaurant to eat. Papa drank his coffee black. At this time when the waitress brought Papa's coffee out, on the side of the cup on the saucer was a 1 ounce glass creamer. Papa turned the creamer up and drank it. Someone asked Papa if he enjoyed his meal. Papa said "It was a fine meal, but that was the smallest glass of milk I have every seen". |
