Obituary for William Robert "Bob" Montgomery Funeral services for Mr. William Robert “Bob” Montgomery, age 90, are scheduled for Monday, January 15, 2018 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Corinth Cemetery in Decatur County. Mr. Montgomery passed away early Thursday in Lexington. He was born May 1, 1927 in Decatur County to the late Voyd and Ruth Creasy Montgomery. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and a retired referee of Appeals for the State of Tennessee. He was a Baptist in belief and enjoyed antique cars, bowling, dancing, and collecting antiques. Survivors include his brother, Roy D. Montgomery (Emma); four sisters, Betty Bingham, Bobbie Moore, Ann Halkiades (Paul), and Norma Jean Oliver; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Hollis Montgomery and two sisters, Martha Bawcum and Marie Chalk. |
