Lois Ray Montgomery Lois Ray Montgomery, 90, passed away Friday night in Parsons, Tenn. He was a member of Trinity Assembly of God and retired wood foreman at Inland Container in Waverly, Tenn. After retirement he opened a discount grocery in Scott Hill, Tenn. He enjoyed going and listen- ing to sports, especially basketball, playing at Scotts Hill High School where he played his senior year in the new gym. Mr. Montgomery was preceded in death by five broth- ers, Grady Montgomery, Vernice Montgomery, Ruell Montgomery, Lon Montgomery and half-brother, Jake Ethridge; sister, Carolee Lancaster; and step-grandson, Tommy Houston. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Montgomery; two sons, Danny Montgomery (Beverly) and Donny Montgomery (Loretta); daughter, Donna K. Martindale (Jason); step-daughter, Sandra Turner (Sam); step-son, Chester Houston; sister, Dorothy Ivey; 11 grandchildren, Brad Montgomery (Dana), Jeff Mont- gomery (Robin), Seth Montgomery, Kaleb Montgomery, Graciee, Callie Anna, Kately Martindale; step-grandchil- dren, Russell Houston, Jenny Wallace (Roger), Jamey and Tracy Moore; and two great-grandchildren, Caitlyn Montgomery Butler (Addison) and Mason Montgomery. Services were held Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023.
