Obituary for Larry Van Box

Larry Van Box, 62, of Darden, TN, passed away Saturday, October 17th, at Decatur Co. General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was a retired sales rep for Airgas.

He is the husband of Clara E. (Matheny) Box and the father of Carrie Box, both of Darden.
Other family members include his mother, Billie Box, of Darden, three sisters, Wanda (Ronnie) Montgomery, of Darden; Gail (Fonzo) Funderburk, of Bath Springs; Cheryl (Tommy) James, of Lexington.

He was predeceased by his father, Van Lee Box.

Funeral Services will be held at Reed's Chapel, Decaturville, TN, at 2 PM on Monday, October 19th, with Bro. Don Franks and Bro. Keith Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Masonic Rites will be conducted at the gravesite.

Visitation will be Sunday 9 AM - 9 PM and Monday 9 AM until service at Reed's Chapel - Decaturville.

LARRY VAN BOX - 62, of Darden TN, passed away 17 Oct 2016 at Decatur Co Gen. Hsp. after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a retired sales representative for Airgas. He is the husband of Clara E. Matheny and the father of Carrie Box, both of Darden. Other members include his mother, Billie Box of Darden, three sisters, Wanda Montgomery, Gail Funderburk and Cheryl James. He was preceded by his father Van Lee Box. Services were held at Reeds Chapel Oct. 19th with Bro. Don Franks and Bro. Keith Kirk officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Carmel Cem. Masonic Rites were conducted. Serving as pallbearers were; Jason Funderburk, Josh Funderburk, Colton Flanagan, Justin Montgomery, Darrell Scott and Bradley Matheny.
