Joey Forrester Joey Butler Forrester, 53, of Martin, formerly of Rives, died at 10 p.m. Sept. 24, 2005, at Regional Medical Center in Memphis. He had suffered a fall from a ladder several days ago. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Harrell Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Randy Brown, Jerry Stanley, Anthony Long, Bill Autry, Jr., Kenneth Asher and Carl Fagan. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Long, Gaylon Long, Hershel Damons, Larry Faulkner, Perry Jenkins, Vowell Jenkins, Jerry Burress and Stan Powell. He was born Aug. 19, 1952, in Obion County, son of Virdie (Bell) Forrester of Union City and the late Herman Forrester. He married the former Lana Long Nov. 2, 1979. She survives. He was a former employee of Vaughn Electric in Union City. Survivors also include his daughter, Emily Forrester; his son, Joseph Scott Forrester; and his brother, James Forrester, all of Martin.
