Patton, John T. (The Lexington Progress, December 2, 1932) Dies in Memphis: John T. Patton of near Juno, aged 70 or more years, died in a Memphis hospital November 28th, 1932, following an operation for kidney trouble. Mr. Patton is survived by his wife Cornelia, who is a daughter of the Rev. Lewis Jackson, and three brothers, George, Sam and Ben. A sister, Mrs. Dr. Adkisson, died recently in Texas. Mr. Patton was a member of the M. E. Church, a Democrat in politics and a good citizen. Burial took place at Independence. |
