Emma Davison

Emma Lois Blasingame Davison, 75, of Savannah, died Sunday, Jan. 21, at Hardin Medical Center.

She was born in Hardin County, daughter of the late James Walter Blasingame and Nora Pearl Hollins Blasingame Franks. She was united in marriage to Hurshel Junior Davison, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Davison was retired from Savannah Manufacturing. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Services were held Wednesday, Jan. 24 at Shackelford Chapel with Eric Jones officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens.

She is survived by her children, Shelia Barrier, Teresa Cummins, Lisa Franks, Sherry White, Kimberly Gladish, Bradley Davison and Stacy Davison, all of Savannah, and Hershel "Bo" Davison of Enville; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a child, Rickey Lynn Davison; and siblings, James and Charles Blasingame and twins, Barbara Dean and Billy Gene Blasingame.
