WAC Soldiers <picture caption> Elithe Faye Tucker Railey of Decaturville, and Bernice Corbit were members of Women's Army Corp. (WAC) during the Korean War. Railey was discharged with the rank of corporal. She served from 1950 to1953. Military decorations included: UN Peace Medal, National Defense Medal, and the Korean Action Medal. Her parents are George W. and Frances Tucker. Faye Railey She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Butler Railey; two brothers, George Paul Tucker and John Herbert Tucker; and two sisters, Stella Mae Miller and Kathleen Tucker. She is survived by one son, Randy Railey of Decaturville; one daughter, Billie Fay Wood of Decaturville; and one sister, Ruth Hambleton of Pennsylvania. Other survivors include one grandson, George Thomas Goff; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. |
