The News Leader, Parsons, TN, April 9, 2003, Page B-4 Van Ray Ivy Funeral services for Mr. Van Ray Ivy, age 78, were held Friday, April 4, 2003 at the Reed's Chapel in Decaturville with Fred House officiating. Interment followed in the Center Hill Cemetery in Parsons. Mr. Ivy, a retired farmer and carpenter, died Wednesday, April 2, 2003 at the Decatur County General Hospital. He was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Decaturville. He is survived by his wife Marie Ivy, three daughters, Jean Parrish and Joan Broadway, both of Decaturville and Jane Tyler of Jackson, two sons, Glen Ivy of Reagan and Mike Ivy of Parsons, a brother Charles Ivy of Parsons, ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. |
