January 10, 1963 Lexington Progress Services for Mrs. Clara Montgomery Presley, 81, were Monday afternoon at Liberty Methodist Church and cemetery. She died Sunday morning at her home near Sardis after a long illness. She was a lifelong resident of the Sardis area and a Methodist. She leaves four daughters, Mrs. Loda Scott and Mrs. Roberta Snider, both of St. Louis, Mrs. Tommie Wylie and Mrs. Ruby Mitchell, both of Sardis; a son, Cecil Presley of Sardis, a stepdaughter, Elizabeth Presley of Sardis; a stepson, Lee Presley of Ada, Oklahoma; a sister, Mrs. Ida Murphy of Sardis. |
