Billy Rogers Moore, Funeral services for Billy Rogers Moore, 69, will be Thursday, February 19, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Parsons Mortuary in Parsons, TN with burial to follow in Sardis Ridge Cemetery. Mr. Moore, retired boat captain on the Gulf of Mexico, died Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He is survived by two daughters, Sherry Thompson of Jackson, TN and Teresa Myers of Mt. Vernon, IL; one son, David Moore of Byhalia, MS; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and two brothers, Granville (Buzz) Moore and Ruben (Junior) Moore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother, Margie Carrington, Lizzie Ann Bates and Charlie Moore. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. today, February 18, 2004. As reported in The Jackson Sun: 02/18/2004 |
