Note: Martha Lucille Keeton Martha Lucille Keeton Lucille Cordle Keeton passed from this life on April 11, 2021 at the age of 94. She was born November 1, 1926, the sixth of seven children of Pleasant (Ples) and Nicie Lula Scott Cordle. In 1946, she married Charles Emerson Keeton to whom she was happily married until his death in 1995. Lucille spent her childhood and most of her early adult life in Bath Springs, Tennessee until she and Charles moved to Knoxville in 1988. She was a long-time member of Keeton Springs Methodist Church and Concord United Methodist Church of Knoxville. She is survived by her two children and their spouses, three grandsons, and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude’s (www.stjude.org or (800) 478-5833) or to the charity of your choice. |
