Thomas “Tom” Ivey

Funeral services for Thomas “Tom” Ivey, 79, were held Friday, August 5, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Parsons Mortuary Chapel with Bro. Stan Mitchell officiating. Interment followed at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mr. Ivey passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Mayo Ivey of Bath Springs; a son, Thomas Hank (Barbara) Ivey of Bath Springs; a daughter, Michelle (Randy) Gordon of Bath Springs; a sister, Sue Tharp Baldwin of Scotts Hill; and three grandchildren, Nolan Ivey, Wesley Gordon and Daniel Gordon.

Mr. Ivey was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Flora Montgomery Ivey Riley and Arthur Riley; father, Nolan H. Ivey; a brother, Glynn Ivey; and a brother-in-law, Robert Sharp.

Serving as pallbearers were Sam Davis, Ricky Tharp, Jeff Montgomery, Wayne Montgomery, James Montgomery and David Wyatt. Arthur Ray Montgomery served as honorary pallbearer.
