For me Mark Rushings are the greatest mystery. In Anson Co. the name Mark is associated with the family of the William Rushing on Little Brown's Creek and Thompson's Creek. However, in Tennessee Mark Rushings are found in areas where the family of the Revolutionary War veteran Phillip is found. The possibility should be considered that Mark Rushing married one of the daughters of Phillip Rushing.
