Moffit Wyatt

PARAGOULD -- Moffit Alan Wyatt, 74, of Paragould died Monday, Nov. 14 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

He was born Nov. 23, 1930, the son of the late Marion Wyatt Sr. and the late Ida Craft Rockwell. Wyatt was retired from General Electric Major Appliance Co., where he was a service technician, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a Korean Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Millie Wyatt of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Vickie L. and Jethro Bo Hester of Paragould; two sons and a daughter-in-law, retired Gunnery Sgt. Alan D. Wyatt of the U.S. Marine Corps and Lauren of Baltimore and Sgt. 1st Class Kevin R. Wyatt, of the Army at Saint Peters, Mo.; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley M. and Wally Byrd of Las Cruces, N.M., Rhoda R. and Dennis Pruitt of Pomona, Mo., and Darlene J. and Steve Huston of Tolar, Texas; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Marion F. and Francis Wyatt Jr. of San Angelo Texas, Wayne W. and Carol Wyatt of Dittmer, Mo., Roy A. and Jeri Wyatt of Desloge, Mo.; and two grandchildren and grandchildren-in-law, Spc. Erik C. Tabers, of the Army, and Ashlie, and Jason Lynn Tabers and Brianne, deployed to Iraq.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Marie Dussold, his brother, Weslie A.C. Wyatt Sr. and a grandson, Cpl. Matthew Alan Wyatt of the Marine Corps.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Heath Colonial Chapel, with Roy A. Wyatt officiating. Interment will follow at Linwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Heath Funeral Home.
