Hobert Levoid Butler, 71, Route 1, Iron City, Tenn, died at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital, Florence, on Feb.15, 1996, after an extended illness. He was born on Aug. 4, 1924 in Florence, Ala.

Mr. Butler was an employee of Genesco in Florence for 27 years and retired from Lincoln Brass in Waynesboro, Tenn. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a son of the late Millard F. Butler and Bessie Burns Butler and a brother of the late Ida Olive, Eva Mae Roberson, and Nettie Butler.
