Jerry L. McDonald, age 73, died Monday, July 25, 2005 at Henderson Co. Hospital. He was a retired structural engineer; U. S. Air Force veteran; and a graduate of Georgia Tech - graduated with highest honors.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 27, 2005, 11:00 AM at Reed's Chapel - Decaturville Tracey McCormick officiating; burial followed at Decaturville Cemetery.

Mr. McDonald is survived by his wife, Loraine McDonald of Decaturville; 1 niece, Cathy Garrett of Decaturville; 1 great niece, Jessie McCormick of Parsons; 1 great-great-niece, Shelby McCormick of Parsons; 1 nephew, Dennis White of Linden; 2 great nephews, Chris and Keith White of Linden; 2 great-great-nephews, Lane & Ty White of Linden and 1 brother, John McDonald of North Carolina.
