The News Leader, Parsons, TN, November 7, 2001, page 8 Lealon E. Wyatt, Sr. Funeral services for Mr. Lealon E. Wyatt Sr., age 89, were held Sunday, November 4, 2001 at the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with Bro. Carlton Barnett officiating. Interment followed in the Scotts Hill Methodist Cemetery. Mr. Wyatt, a retired teacher and principal of Scotts Hill School and a retired farmer, died Friday, November 2, 2001 at the Decatur County General Hospital. He is survived by a son, Lealon Wyatt, Jr. of Bath Springs, one sister, Kathleen Ayers of Linden, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Wyatt was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Hobbs Wyatt. Family and friends acted as pallbearers. |
