"James Hiram Stricklin, b. Dec. 28, 1825 died March 11, 1903, married July 5, 1848 to Nancy Caroline Daniel, born Aug. 4, 1833, died Feb. 22, 1915. They are buried in the family cemetery near Pinhook Branch at Lutts, TN. He gave the land and started the oldest section when his son James W. "Jim" Stricklin died Jan. 16, 1877. They were Presbyterians."
