Mary Nellie “Nanny” Montgomery Mary “Nanny” Nell Montgomery, 86, of Bath Springs,Tenn. passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Decatur County Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Parsons,Tenn. She is survived by her sons, Sonny Montgomery of BathSprings, Tenn., Mickey Montgomery of Bath Springs, Tenn. and James (Traci) Montgomery of BathSprings, Tenn.; daughters; Gail (Tracy) Tuten of Bath Springs, Tenn. and Bonnie (Joe) Pelcof Bath Springs, Tenn.; brothers, John Carl Newman of Decaturville, Tenn., Dale New-man of Mountain City, Tenn., Larry Newman of Parsons, Tenn., Glen Newman of Parsons,Tenn. and Max Newman of Bath Springs,Tenn.; sisters, Nancy Rainey of Parsons, Tenn. and Diane Maness of Decaturville, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Jennifer(Herby) Blankenship, Jeremy (Honey) Montgomery, Jacob Tuten, McKaylan Tuten and Kristy Montgomery; four stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; eight step grand-children; and five step great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon“Pete” Montgomery; mother, Lillian Maners Newman; father, T.T. Newman; daughter-in-law, Tina Montgomery;mbrothers, Tommy Newman, Billy Newman and Don Newman; and sister, Isabelle Wade. Services were held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 1:00p.m. in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel. Burial followed at theMontgomery Family Cemetery in Bath Springs, Tenn.
