Geneva Montgomery, 89, of Decaturville, TN, passed away Tuesday, February 16th, at AHC Decatur Co.

She was the former owner of the Flower Basket when it was located in Decaturville, she had been a beauty shop owner and had worked at Decaturville Sportswear. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Mrs. Montgomery is survived by a daughter, Pam Pearcy, of Decaturville; four sons, Jimmy (Brenda) Montgomery, of Camden; Bobby (Diana) Montgomery, of Decaturville; Gary (Debbie) Montgomery, of Decaturville; Donny (Ginger) Montgomery, of Decaturville; two brothers, Hollis (Hilda) Keeton, of Decaturville; Fred (Linda) Keeton, of Decaturville.

She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren - Tama (Jeff) Fortner, Jamie (Elizabeth) Montgomery, Alisha (Randy) O'dell, Derrick (Kara) Montgomery, Clint (Sunny) Montgomery, Hunter Pearcy and Hayley Pearcy; 11 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nealous Montgomery, parents, Andy and Susie Keeton and a great-grandson, Carter Reed Montgomery.

Her funeral service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, February 21st at Reed's Chapel - Decaturville with Rev. Earl Dickerson and Rev. Steve Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday 1 PM - 5 PM and Sunday from 12 noon until service at Reed's Chapel - Decaturville.

If attending the visitation or service, face masks are required and social distancing is encouraged. The family requests no food be brought during the visitation or service due to COVID concerns.

Reed's Chapel - Decaturville is in charge of arrangements.

Tama has her own business where she works from home as an editor and writes books. She formerly worked as an editor for Ideal Publishers and Tommy Nelson. While working for Nelson, she did work for Thomas Kincaid. She has written four Thomas Kincaid books. One of them is a parent's baby book which went into publication in March of 2000 just in time to use for her daughter.
